About Wanderlust Holistic

Hello, I’m Sarah-Jane, the massage therapist behind Wanderlust Holistic — a mobile massage service rooted in calm, presence, and the quiet power of intentional touch. I bring nurturing, intuitive treatments directly to your abode, creating a space where you can unwind without having to go anywhere at all.

Where It All Began- My interest in massage started when I was a teen, supporting my younger sister through a period of ill health. I would often give her gentle head massages, she relaxed, her breath steadied and sleep came easily. It taught me early on that touch can bring comfort in ways words cannot.

My Training- That experience led me to explore the deeper “why” behind the body’s response to touch. I gained my Diploma in Therapeutic Massage in 2006, followed by further qualifications in: * VTCT Level 3 Indian Head Massage * Advanced Massage * Pregnancy Massage * Hot Stone Therapy * Oncology Massage Learning remains a constant part of my journey.

My Approach- I work slowly, intuitively, and with a deep respect for the nervous system. As a mobile therapist, I bring my massage table, transforming your space into a calm, grounding environment — whether you need rest, release, or simply a quiet moment to breathe. My focus is always on helping your body settle and return to its natural rhythm.

A Wee Bit More About Me- I love travelling with my family, long walks with my wee dog, sea dips in the colder seasons, sauna sessions, music and films. I hold a BA (Hons) in Arts and Humanities and although I don’t consider myself academic, I love to learn — especially about people and society from the early modern period to the present day. I’m also a forever learner of the German language: Ich verstehe Deutsch, aber bin ich schüchtern zu Deutsch sprechen. I’m continually drawn to anything that deepens understanding and nurtures growth — whether it’s new bodywork techniques, the wisdom of nature, gentle philosophy, or the stories of people across time.

A Loving Affirmation- May your body be held by the earth, your breath flow with ease, and your spirit be gently restored.

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love.”
